A Message from MCNY Board Chair
Gary Jenkins, MPA'06

Dear MCNY Community,

As a proud MCNY alum, I recognize the grit and determination that it takes to complete your degree. Whether our students are working full-time, raising families, or on a new educational journey, they are working toward a degree that can change the course of their lives and the lives of others. This is what MCNY did for me.

In July 2022, the MCNY Board of Trustees honored me with the opportunity to Chair the Board. This is not a commitment that I take lightly. In fact, I will need your continued support; professionally and personally. The College’s growth is a testament to the commitment of our friends, faculty and staff, alumni, financial partners, and students. It takes a village to make this possible and while the work hasn’t always been easy, the results are undeniable.

Improving educational and financial support is crucial to the success of our students and the strides we’ve made as a college. We imagine a future with more newly enrolled students, more support for existing students and spreading the mission of MCNY in our communities. Together, we can make this possible.

I look forward to serving MCNY, our students and our community.

Warmest regards,

Gary P. Jenkins
Chair, MCNY Board of Trustees
